Several members of the Franklin & Marshall community have reported to Information Technology Services that they received notices indicating problems with their accounts.  These messages are accompanied by a request to confirm Email Username, Email Password, and Date of Birth.  These email requests appear to come from "webmaster-at-fandm.edu" or the "Fandm.edu Mail Upgrade Team."

These messages are known as phishing scams and are designed to steal your account information.

Please disregard these messages.  Neither Information Technology Services nor any other legitimate organization would use messages of this type to communicate with users.

Sending personal account information to unknown, anonymous parties exposes both personal and College resources and may result in Franklin & Marshall email being blocked by Internet service providers.
